The next meeting of the MacPeople Gainesville Area Macintosh Users Group will be on Thursday, May 13, 2010, from 6:00-9:00 pm in the University of Florida Entomology-Nematology Bldg., room 1031 (building in the woods just east of the Performing Arts Center). Need Directions?

iPhoto has several built in options for basic photo editing, but when you need a little more power Photoshop Elements will go above and beyond. Rick shows you how to make simple edits and tweaks to your photos using these tools.

Now is the time to show off your favorite iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications. We’ll ask for volunteers to come up for a 2-5 minute “show and tell” of their favorite iPhone applications and explain how and why they use their favorite apps.
8:30- 9:00 Working with the iPad - Katie and Rick
The iPad is a great “around the house” device to surf websites and read eBooks. But can you really get work done with the iPad? Katie and Rick share their experiences using the iPad on the road and show off some of the productivity applications you can use to get your work done on the iPad? Will the iPad replace a notebook? Maybe for some uses.
